日足協榮譽主席挑戰FIFA大位　田嶋幸三：傳達正直健全態度

日本足球協會（JFA）名譽會長田嶋幸三昨宣布，將挑戰現任FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association，國際足球總會)主席因凡蒂諾（Gianni Infantino）第4度連任，FIFA主席改選投票預定於明年的3月18日舉行。

日本《共同社》報導，田嶋昨於東京舉行的JFA理事會結束後，接受媒體採訪時表示：「非常高興能在JFA的全力支持下宣布參選。無論勝負如何，我的目標是向全世界傳達日本足球所建立起的正直、健全且正確的態度。現在FIFA所需要的正是我們一直堅守的這些價值，為了向全世界呼籲這一點，我決定參選。」

田嶋曾是日本國家代表隊成員，生涯出戰7場A級國際賽，之後經歷教練生涯，並轉型參與足球行政相關事務，並自2015年起擔任FIFA最高執行機構理事會理事。

除了田嶋外，現任主席的另一位競爭者是英格蘭職業足球隊熱刺後衛維加（Ramon Vega）， 而因凡蒂諾於2016年首次當選，並在2019年與2023年成功連任 ，將在本屆選舉中挑戰四度連任。

FIFA選舉由211個會員國，每個會員國均為1票，FIFA主席候選人登記截止日為本月18日，若想要取得參選資格，必須獲得至少5個國家支持。
